Wild Goose Recipe

A wild goose recipe just the way grandma used to make it!
Ingredients:
1 whole wild goose
2 celery stalks – chopped
2 apples – sliced
1 onion – chopped
4 slices of bacon
honey
butter
salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
Start off by coating the inside of the whole goose with butter, pepper, and salt. Next place the celery, apple, and chopped onions inside the goose cavity. Now rub butter and honey over the outside of the goose and place the bacon on top. Place in a 325 oven covered in pan with 2 cups of water inside for moisture. Baste goose frequently while cooking.
Bake the goose for approximately 15 mins per lb. until it is tender. Serve up with some delicious side dishes and enjoy.
