Steelhead Trout Recipes

Ingredients for Marinade:
Steelhead trout – any size (cooking instructions below)
1/4 cup butter
2 garlic cloves, minced
2 tbsp dijon mustard
2 tbsp brown sugar
2 tbsp your favorite honey
2 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp rice vinegar
Directions:
Start off by melting up the butter in a small pan on stove. Mix in the ingredients above and whisk.
Take your fish and place on a piece of tinfoil. Drizzle on the marinade you just made; make sure to cover all of the fish well. Take tinfoil and fold it up around the fish to make a enclosed packet. Make sure the sides are folded up tight so marinade doesn’t leak out in oven.
Place in an oven preheated at 400. Bake for 10 mins plus 5 mins per 1/2 inch of thickness of fillet. A 1 inch fillet would take 20 mins to bake. 2 inch fillet would take 30 mins to bake.
