Here is some of our favorite salmon appetizers.
Salmon Spinach Party Dip
Serving Size: 16 (about four cups)
This appetizer recipe will be a favorite for your party needs. Combine one seven or eight ounce can of salmon with a ten ounce package of frozen spinach. Make sure the spinach is diced or choped. Thaw it and squeeze dry. Next, mix one half cup mayonnaise and one cup plain yogurt for added appetizer texture. Then add a half cup each of chopped green onions and chopped fresh parsley. Last, add a half teaspoon each of dill weed and dried basil with a fourth teaspoon grated fresh lemon peel and mix thoroughly. Place in refrigerator and cool to blend flavors. Remove and serve this appetizer with vegetables and rye crackers.
Smoked Salmon Cheeseball
Serving Size: 4 to 6 people
Hors d’oeuvre appetizer recipe
Combine eight ounces of room temperature cream cheese with one fourth cup grated cheese, a half teaspoon horseradish, one quick shake worcestershire, one teaspoon lemon juice, a six ounces salmon and a half cup ground pecans.
Next, roll ingredients into a ball and roll over choped walnuts. Dash the ball with spiced chili powder and refrigerate at least thirty minutes.
