Baked Walleye with cheese sauce.
Ingredients:
4-6 walleye fillets
1 tbsp of lemon juice
Velveeta Cheese sauce:
6 oz of Velveeta
2-3 tbsp of milk (3 to make thicker sauce)
1 tbsp butter
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp garlic powder
salt to taste
black pepper to taste
Mix all ingredients for Velveeta cheese sauce in a sauce pan and heat over medium on stove. Heat through until Velveeta cheese is melted. Stir while heating to mix all ingredients in well.
Pre-heat oven to 350. Set the walleye fillets in greased baking dish and sprinkle with a dash of lemon juice. Pour Velveeta cheese sauce over walleye fillets and bake for 20-25 mins. Serve over potatoes or white rice.
